Africa Tech Summit London 2023 and 2024 sold out as did the Africa Tech Summit Nairobi 2025 - the larger scale Nairobi conference, hosted at the Sarit Expo Centre, connects 2,000+ delegates from 60+ countries while the more intimate gathering at the London Stock Exchange attracts 300+ delegates from 200+ companies and 30+ countries;
In each of the 3 years (2023, 2024 & 2025) 12-15+ early stage startups pitched to 8 high profile international investors - notably the entrepreneurs involved, pre-selected prior to the “Investor Showcase”, were seeking to raise $1mn to $15mn+ in funding;

Each Summit was packed with panels, meetings and networking sessions, with the event organiser publicly stating that the 2023 edition was the “biggest and most energetic London event yet” while also celebrating the “smooth running of the Investment Showcase” in 2024;
In Nairobi in February 2025, for the first time ever, the “Africa Tech Summit Awards” ceremony was held to celebrate tech companies driving growth across 11 sector categories - delighted to be invited to present the "Young Tech Innovator" Award to Maxwell Opondo, co-Founder, Zerobionic Africa, who has developed a robotic arm, that responds to sign language, enabling real-time communication and interaction for students with hearing impairments!
